Steven graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Clinical Science) and a Masters of Health Science (Osteopathy).  He has been working as a mobile massage therapist since 2018 and worked as a sports trainer for 2 years with the Victorian Football League (VFL) umpires. At the VFL he shadowed sports physiotherapists and assisted in the rehabilitation of elite athletes. This experience exposed him to the management of acute and chronic injuries in a high performance setting.

Dr. Steven Zarka is also a skilled osteopath with incredible knowledge in caring for the paediatrics population, having undergone advanced osteopathic paediatric courses. He focuses on restoring balance to the body's musculoskeletal system, particularly for infants, children, and adolescents. Dr. Zarka employs a holistic approach, tailoring treatments to each child's specific needs, whether it's for common issues like colic, reflux, or musculoskeletal pain, or more complex conditions. His careful and empathetic methods aim to promote healing and overall wellness, ensuring that young patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their care.

 

Steven has a strong passion for tailoring a holistic treatment plan that is distinct to each specific patient. He strives to understand and manage the source of the patients complaint in order to help people return to the activities that are important to them through providing support,  education and empathy. 

Steven is available on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays mornings.
